TR3A Progress Page

This particular project is going to be somewhat more involved than any of my others to date. My goal was to get into a TR3 as cheaply as possible and still have a reasonable starting basis.

This is the car that I picked up in Carbondale Illinois. From this view it looks like the car would be rebuildable. Well, click on the image below and take a closer look!

Here is the car that I picked up in Indiana. This car was previously dismantled by one of the previous owners. The body tub itself was pretty much a total loss. I did manage to obtain 4 good fenders, 2 good doors, good boot and bonnet, frame, seats and pretty much everything else I would need to complete a TR3A with the exception of a decent tub.

This is the car that I picked up in Madisonville Kentucky from Paul Oglesby. Its a rolling tub and chassis from a 1959 TR3A. Its commission number was within 1000 of the first TR3A that I picked up in Carbondale Illinois.
