12/4/2009 All Non 141.com hosted email NOTE: 1) Cut over to the new server occurred at approximately 4pm US MST. 2) PASSWORD issues: if your password was less than 6 characters in length, it will now be double what it was. IE: mark would now be markmark. 3) Checking old server for email: Go to http://old.141.com. your username will be your full email address. Your password will be your old password (same if it was six or more characters). 4) IMPORTANT! If your dns is not controlled by us, your mx record MUST be set to mx.141.com. We have found that it has been set to mail.141.com which no longer works. Notice to all 141.com Domain mail users you@141.com: All 141.com domain email accounts were moved over to our new server about 3am MST 11/12/2009. All mail is going to your account on the new server. There are two things you should check in your email client: 1) The pop server should be pop.141.com 2) The smtp mail server should be set to smtp.141.com 3) IF YOUR password is not working, either send me an email from an alternate address and tell me what you would like your new password to be (minimum 8 characters) or call me at 801-877-3224 between 8 and 5 on weekdays. Any Mail that may be left on the old server will still be accesible at http://old.141.com. To get your old mail you MUST log in as you@mail.141.com with your old password. To move old mail to the new server simply forward it to yourself (you@141.com). |
